i purchased a vis rear lip for my protege from autobarber.com and within 24 hours they call me and tell me the shipping was miscalculated and the transaction will be canceled, still have not recieved money back and tried calling every number i can find for them, either is a recording and hangs up or the numbers are disconnected, anybody else ever deal with these guys or heard anything about them, they are suppose to be a sister company of autobahn.
 
so ended up getting money back from them, called vis who not only price matched the lower rate, gave me lower shipping and upgraded me from the fiberglass piece to the poly urthene (sp?).
 
First, I am so sorry for this happen. I personally create a 5% discount coupon for you to apologize for our shipping miss calculation problem. Please check your pm.

Regarding your order, you placed it on 12th. Order was canceled on 13th. You post this command on 14th. There is no such a credit card processor that can refund your money in 1 day in the world. Our sales should offer to ship you the simple polyurethane design which is the same price. This is our mistake.

There are around 800 different fiberglass lip. 70% of them is considered as oversized item and will be shipped as just like a bumper because fiberglass lip can not be fold. VIS does not have a clear definition for us. Please check around and see, all other seller shipping price of FIBERGLASS lip still above $100. Only polyurethane lip can be folded to become so small that the shipping is a lot cheaper. However, during winter time, folding will damaged the shape.

There is only 1 type of polyurethane lip for your 01-03 mazda protege. It is a simple design which totally different from what you ordered from us. The retail price of both is the same if you check vis site. This is not an upgrade. Also, you have good shipping price because again polyurethane can be folded and ship out as a small package. It is still a shame VIS as a whole seller match retail price.

Please understand the whole market before claiming our site as a scam. We are trying out best here to come out a very complicated shipping system which can help customer save money on shipping even on big order. Right now, there is still no similar website can match our website shipping technology. It look funny that you are claiming a 20k budget website as a scam.

Autobarber website contain a whole new sophisticated social networking system. Customer can chat through forums, show their profile, personal gallery, friend approval, comment system and a lot more. We even come out our own clubs system for international customer. There is a lot more coming to Autobarber to improve customer shopping experiance. There is no limit on the sky.

Well the lip is already ordered, delivered, painted and on the car. I got a price for 150 for the rear lip, not fiberglass but the polyurthene, also they dropped shipping charges down to 85 on the lip. It didnt come bent or any of the things you are claiming. I am happy with the product and will continue using them for my parts.

The reason I *asked* (not claimed)if it was a scam was because the fact that I ordered a product, when the product was cancelled I tried contacting the company. The phone numbers given go directly through to a voice mail and the only person that calls back can barely speak English and is very difficult to understand.

Imagine you were the customer here, its not very ensuring to not be able to get ahold of the company you just gave money too. You might wanna try changing that in the future.

As for your 5% discount it is as of no use for me, but thank you for your gratitude. *cough*
 
I want to take this chance to apologize to any customer who has trouble with our 1800 support line. We have an unexpected peak month. I can't foresee this happen on this pretty new sub company in such economy.

Thank to the IT department of doing good job on SEO and catching this thread so fast, I know our insufficient workforce create unhappy customer. However, if your guy can finish the product page ajax shipping estimation and international shipping system on time, the support line burden would be relieved a lot.

Autobarber's team and website will keep improving and provide better service and pricing. We open to any command and suggestion on our community forums.

It seems that your reputation is falling flat on its face as far as business ethics and responsibility. I as well, am a victim of your unprofessional practices. You have NOT refunded my full amount paid of $349.16; you always hang up when a call FINALLY comes through or I am directed to a voicemail option with no returned calls. NOW...your toll free business number will not be available until after June 28, 2010?! WTF...it seems that you guys are on vacation and partying off money of hardworking customers.

Hence, I will be contacting VIS Racing as well as my banking company to deal with your fraudulent acts or any other legal actions. By all means necessary, I will get my refund from the "cancelled" order #100092 / customer #18829!! In addition, your reputation will be advertised via Information Technology worldwide....scammers. It has been nearly 3 weeks and no reply!
 
Again, I am so sorry for your refunding problem. I know my support guy is overwhelmed, miss email and phone during the time I was out of country. Please spare with them because they don't even have full access to credit transaction especially your case.

After our credit card processor investigation, your order was canceled and void BEFORE your credit card settlement. This means our credit card processor don even process your card. Authorization has been made to hold your money by your bank when you click on the purchase, if our credit card processor did not do the settlement ( capture ) , your money hold should be released by your bank. But in your case, it seems like your bank DID NOT release your money.

I called our credit card processor to file an investigation and called your credit card bank right after I back. Solution should be emailed to you long time ago.

This is additional information for all the online buyer. People can always use credit card to purchase online without much worry because you are protected. Any doubt transaction can be REVERSE just a phone call away. Call your credit card company and dispute the charge, they will reverse the money back to you, send you a new number card, and send a chargeback form to the company who receive your money. If the company is scamming people online with too many chargeback, their merchant account will be forced to closed. All this thing just a phone call away.
 
To share some good news,

1. Autobarber have over hundred orders in 3 months. ( since we open our site )
We have been successfully ship product to Canada, Australia, England and Austria.

2. Our international shipping estimation and product page on the fly shipping estimation will be done pretty soon.

3. Our google checkout shipping rate problem has been fixed.

4. More community new function will be implemented soon.
