I am thinking about getting a MS3 but don't like stick....I live in Brooklyn, and stopping every block with stick really is annoying. Trust me, my dad had a stick porsche.....wasn't a fun ride. So I was wondering if the MS3 comes in auto.

Get the MS3 and deal with the shifting. You will be much happier!

i'd agree, but you don't know brooklyn man. or any another part of nyc really. horrible traffic throughout most hours of the day. i remember many times sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on the belt pkwy, or on the LIE, etc, and this is at weird hours like 3am or 4am.

To automatic I say BAH!! But if it must be, the MS3 is not your car since it doesn't come in auto.

Exactly. I really don't want to be switching gears in bumper to bumper traffic. If I lived in an open state like New Jersey or something it would be much easier. Maybe I will pick up the regular Mazda3.

Theres no point in getting that car down there. It'll get dinged by people parallel parking, you'll never utilize the power and your insurance agents gonna send you christmas presents when you add that to your policy.

If you want a car for stop and go, bumper to bumper traffic....get a comfy car with an auto and a 4 banger. Seriously, no need for it. If you can afford it, get an old beater Accord (like me) or Camry and keep the MS3 or whatever else for fun.

I really want a hatch car. I don't know why but I just love them haha. Why do you say that it will get dinged up parallel parked?

Because people don't care and will destroy your front and rear bumper on your ms3. I have actually seen it when I was a student in Chicago. I would actually stare at the person while shaking my head as they hit another vehicle either going in or out. Not a good 'city' car.

I lived here my entire life, and non of my dad's benzs, BMWs ever get messed up. I don't need the speed as I'm not going to street race either way, and the manual tranny just isn't compfortable with a lot of street lights. I love the look of the car and everything about it so why not =/.

Dont do it. Get a manual. I live in the city and endure my share of traffic. You get use to it. Its really not as bad as people make it out to be. It becomes second nature. I love manual!

I used to say that...now I find myself wishing that I had my wife's car in stop and go.

I guess its personal choice. IDK driving autos just makes you loose the whole feel of the car.
