it wouldnt' stall because your putting the air back into the system.

yea it looks like it replaces the stock bpv..which is probably why they have it recirculating (no sound) thats why if u have dual setup (stock bpv and bov) it wont stall because it recirculates AND blows off. so i guess if u get this kit, youre gonna have to have it recirculate...or u can just get hardpipes and have it setup for dual setup.

heres a link that shows how to install bov on stock pipes..i did this on my car and had this setup for about a year and everything worked fine. this how-to uses an hks bov but its the same thing for greddy

Just get the full hot side hot pipe made. That stock plastic pipe is the worse piece of s*** ever made. Your spending $75 for an adapter. You can get a full hot side T6 alum pipe with 4- Tbolts,2- 4 ply couplers, and the Authentic Greddy flange for about $220. It will sound 20 times better and you won't have to worry about leaks from the plastic fitting that breaks off. Trust me I made an adapter for the stock pipe long ago and switched to a hard pipe setup and the sound and performance is night and day.

i would say hardpipes is a better option but atleast there is a bigger market.

i've been looking around a bit and can't find the answer, i just got the forge bov and have had the same problems of almost stalling when staying in neutral, would changing the stock pipes to hardpipes get rid of the wanting to stall or would it do nothing and i will have to do a bov/bpv set up? all i really got the bov for is the sound and i know getting hardpipes will fix this but i also don't want the hassle of the stalling issue.

I couldn't even hear the forge BOV without upgrading to a hardpipe on the hotside. Once I had the hardpipe on I never even came close to stalling..

so hardpipes+bov is probably the ideal solution then. The Apex deal sounds good, but I would pay a little more for hardpipes, if that gets rid of stalling when you are venting to the atmosphere.

there are threads about these out there and one on how to properly tune the Greddy. I personally had the Forge with a hardpipe and no stalling at all and a very nice pssst sound.....

there is no question that venting a bov to the atmosphere will make the cool psst/woosh sound. But did you keep your bpv and recirculating as well? It seems like simply having a bov venting to atmosphere (no bpv at all) stalls for some, but not for others. Does anyone have a clue why besides every car is slightly different? (group)

it depends on how the BOV is adjusted. you gotta be very meticulous when adjusting the BOV's screws

Forgive me for this stupid question (but I am new to all of this). Is there any way to run this setup with our stock bpv so that you get the sound and no stalling.
