Apex downpipe question

I couldnt find anything through searching, but has anyone done a before and after dyno with a 3" apex downpipe. I'd like to know just how much power is gained from that $330. That seems like a lot of money for a piece of pipe. (eek2)

~10-12whp IIRC. That might have been for the 2.5", but expect those numbers. You'll be making more HP/PSI when you start to play with a boost controller as well.

I am going next week, to the dyno, to run my car. I need to install e manage and new injectors first then we are going to tune my car on the dyno. The downpipe was the best investment I have made for the speed. As soon as it was installed you could tell how much more power the car had. $330.00 is cheap for the benefits of the downpipe. I have just about everything done to my speed and the downpipe was the most noticable increase. There service and support are a cut above. Ben, Dale, Kenny, and Chris have done nothing but good stuff for me. Also if they promise it to you on a certian day, you can count on it being there. Unlike some other vendors on the forum, it is amazing how people say one thing when taking your money and then it is a different story after the fact. I have delt with 3 vendors that did not come close to what they said.

I am running 15 psi around town until I tune the car next week. I will be running 20 psi on low boost and 25 for hi boost. I feel another differential will be biting the dust very soon. I ordered new injectors and greddy e manage. Between the afcII and the e manage I should be fine after the dyno time.

Damn, that seems like a lot of boost. Although with the upgraded gt28rs, it should be reaching its max efficiency. Do you have any pics of your engine bay? I'd like to see.
