So I walk into work today and there is a sweet silver RX-8 out front. I met the owner, she was nice and liked it but wanted something with more power, so she drove off in an 04 ZO6.

I just got the carfax, It is a 1 owner vehicle, and it shows all the reported service, which she had done regularly at Morande. She even put all weather floor mats on top of the factory floor mats. I will post some better pictures once it comes out of inspection. (cabpatch)

OMFG!!! I just did got a chance to drive it around the lot, this thing is so freaking sweeeeet. it sounded loud when I was on throttl, so I popped the hood and found a Carbon Fiber K&N intake!

Yea, the K&N intake is very loud, and that's why I bought Racing Beat. It's almost intolerable at cruising speeds. I'd suggest putting it back to stock unless you find some kid that loves the loudness. I wonder if that was the only mod? Exhaust looks stock, but that could have been put back.

The asking price for the RX-8 is $18,777. Nav, sunroof, 6speed, Carbon Fiber K&N intake, leather, dealer serviced, carfax report available in the showroom. Help me sell this before they wholesale it! They call me the Mazda geek here because well, I'm a Mazda Geek working at GM dealership. go figure.

Do you know anyone who has a stock intake? I might swap it out. The dealership could care less. I had a 20 minute debate with the Sales Manager about Mazdas and rotary engines and he just looked at me like I was special. The Used Car Manager was cool. He used to sell mazdas, so he knew all about it.

I'm such a Mazda geek that I while at the golf event, I went right past the new mercedes 550, right past the audi suv with a v10 and found the guy with a 93 miata. 1st gen FTW!!
