I am gettin my intake and strut bar powdercoated blue...and I wanna paint my valve cover COVER blue..(yea that plastic Mp3 thing)..I have high heat paint...Anything I should know about before I do this?

I would just follow the instructions on the can for painting plastic. I painted the valve cover last weekend without problems. You're just painting and aesthetic cover but using high heat paint probably is a good idea. Everyone agree?

whatd u do abvout the MP3 emblem..mask it or remove it? I have a feeling Im gonna bed thatcheap aluminum if i try to take it off

I have an PR5 and therefore do not have the plastic valve cover. Is there a way to pop out the emblem or is it permanently attached?

I only responded to give you my opinion. I hope I wasn't too misleading if I sounded like I have a MP3. I guess I should have said that as long as you cover up that emblem (or remove it) you can go ahead and paint away.

No problem...Weeeeelll I started painting! I masked off the MP3 emblem..and the "DOHC 16-Valve" lettering..That mask job came out great...I'll reveal my secretonhow I did that once I get the cover finished...I'll have a ton of pics up once im finished
