, yes, it gives you most accurate and quickest response, but there is alot more labor involved and you risk the probe breaking one day and detroying your turbo, allthough i personally never seen that happen. also depending where you put the probe you might only be picking up the temps from one or two cylinders, if the un metered cylinders get hot one day you wont know until its too late. I have seen the tip of the probe melt away causeing a short on my WRX but the turbo was fine. Just make sure somebody really knows what the hell they are doing before the install. hope this helps
