I am just wondering because i cook a lot, and i especially cook mostly chinese but some japanese dishes from scratch at least three times a week.
i have been to quite a few of those japanese restaurants called hibachi or teppan where they cook in front of you. most of those places have a super size ketchup type bottle where they shoot something during cookin which almost looks like soy sauce but it isnt...ive been trying to find out what it is now for so long its driving me crazy...
the last few places i went to didnt use that sauce...still good, but not using that sauce...
so i am hoping either someone here has the same interests or has asked about that sauce or soemthing.
or maybe one of the smart asses
