Just ordered the 4300K H7 kit for the low beams. With Holiday shipping, I'm hoping it shows up soon. As soon as it does, I'll be taking comparison shots. I've got stock bulbs in wifey's car, right now I've got Silver Star Ultras, then, I'll have the HID setup. Stay tuned.
Oh, and upgrading the fogs to PIAA Ion yellow fogs and bending the little tab inside up.
And, I'll be doing the "Fogs always on" mod so I can run em seperate.

i got a question, and it may seem like a newbie one but i see all these HID kits on ebay for like 50 or 60 bucks and they look like real HID's and they come with the ballasts and everything, can someone confirm that these are real or fake?
i got the same bulbs in my fogs with the fog light mod as well. i can tell you now you almost wont need headlights at night lol, these bulbs are very bright, i usually drive around with just the fogs on because they light up the road sufficently enough
I saw a ridiculous improvement in my visibility compared to halogen. I will never go back to regular lighting again. A projector set up would be sweet to concentrate the beam and have a nice cut off line - but frankly I'm pretty happy as is.

Please please please do not put HID's in a housing that was not designed for them. IF you're going to do it, do it right and either pick up a set of projectr headlights that have a proper cutoff, or retrofit some projector housings into yours. I'm amazed at how many people just drop HID's into standard headlights and have no concern for the glare that it causes......
Oh well I search google for Xenon Expert and I found this website.
http://www.xenonexpert.com/
It has three conversion kits: Philips, DDM, and Apexcone. Which one do you have?
Is there any difference between the kits?
Again, it's like change the halogen bulb but one more step that connect the harness to the ballast right?
Also, anyone try the bi-xenon ones? Sounds like it can change both Hi and Lo at once?
Man, I am jealous for that light output.

I'm thinking about getting HID's, but just put them in my fogs, that way I can use them when I need em. Plus they are substatianly lower compared to the headlights so though should help the glare. Any opinions? I'm thinking about getting the kit from theRPMstore. They have an option of purchasing the relay with this kit. What would the relay do in this case, help from blowing my bulbs? Thanks
hey man there is a really good place for real cheap kits
