How many miles on the ride? Your dampening maybe too soft. For the larger wheels.

Mine didn't rub until I went to a 235/45/18 on my 6sportwagon. So I definately need a roll, but man my car looks so hard for wagon with those wheels. Right now I have my 17's on the back. It looks funny!

I have about 23k miles on it with the stock suspension.

Compared to stock wheels, the RX8 wheels are about a half inch closer to the fender

I can get a fender roller from SU if you guys want to kick in for the return shipping costs. SU does sponsor our MSP, they do not charge me to rent it or the shipping cost to send itout.

Here's a photo of the car empty...it's like a monster truck with all that wheel gap haha. I noticed when I had the car full after I rubbed...I could barely fit 1 finger between the wheel and fender. I think the issue is the stock spring/shocks setup are way to soft and it easily sags with extra weight.

You can see the width is much wider than oem...

By next spring, the RX8 wheels will be powder coated and wrapped in some good summer tires. Also, I plan on doing something to the suspension. I want about a 3/4"-1" drop to fill that gap. I was looking at KWv1 coilovers as they seem to be a decent price. I don't want to do anything too crazy since this is my DD. Just want something I can adjust and be a little bit more sporty.

I just PMd Biggu to see if his roller is available. The only issue with that is I would probably have to drive down to pick it up (assuming he isn't coming to the cookout)

That sounds like a good plan if Jasen wouldn't mind bringing it along to the cookout. I know MagnumP5 (Jon) was asking about rolling his fenders at the cookout too. I don't need to use it but will keep an eye on it and make sure everyone takes very good care of it for you, Biggu.

Biggu said iSpoon can bring the roller, but they didn't talk about it so iSpoon was a little confused when I mentioned it HAHA.

iSpoon said he is willing to bring Biggu's fender roller, only if we roll his first haha!

Just make sure iSpoon and Biggue know whats going on and kick them a couple bucks for their trouble and I'm sure they would bring it up.

Sweet so the roller is coming to Akron, how long is allowed to stay? I won't be back in town till Monday night. I can roll my fenders on Tuesday and ship it back to Biggu.
