380 treadwear is good. i had 280 treadwear nitto neogens last me almost 35K . I drive pretty hard too.

Are they descent quality or garbage I was quoted $280 mounted and balanced. Sounds pretty cheap but I'm not auotxing with them.

Read up on treadwear. Treadwear rating isn't comparable across manufacturers. It's some marketting driven number that is used to compare treadwear between different models of the same manufacturer.

I see some information saying they are made by Kelly Springfield and some say they are a generic tire from Goodyear but turns out they are all the same company (Goodyear umbrella)

republic is not a fantastic brand. i had a set on my 85 rx7 beater for daily driving. they were alright for the most part. could have been much worse.
