Need a little help... My driver side window is stuck. the motor is fine and it comes down every now and then but only if the weather decides to cool down. At this point i'm trying to figure it out but can't get the thing to come down... also its a florida car so the salt in the air may have something to do with it.

i'm having the same prob down here in south texas off the coast...when its stuck i just push down on the button to roll down window and push hand against window and pull down to get it started, i think the heat just gets the rubber really soft to the point where it sticks, sumtin you just gotta deal with sadly enough

yea i've tried doin that but haven't gotten it to move in like a month. I might try replacing the seals and see if that helps cuz i don't like jammin on it real hard. my passenger side tends to stick but releases after a couple tries and my rear windows work fine. its weird.

Ya, just a weird anomaly that you have to put up with for living in the nice warm ocean climate

yea no kiddin... but i'm movin back to dallas this week so i'm trying to get it fixed before i head back.

Nope. Same issue. My car came from Pensacola, FL, but I live up in Atlanta, GA.
My windows stick, and it's kind of annoying. But it's getting better.

Clean the top of the window. When you put your window down you will see a "film" of dirt on the top of the window where it goes into the seal. Clean that once in a while and no more problems :)

Ehhh, I tried that. It still gets stuck. I thought that was the main issue. But I cleaned it pretty well, it still gets a little stuck here and there.

yup motor is fine... i put a s*** ton of pressure on it today to see if it would budge but it didn't... i'm bringin it in to get fixed tomorrow cuz i'm tired of this damn problem.

well it was nice and cool this morning and the window decided that it wanted to work before i took it in for an oil change. I cleaned the top part of the window and seals and then put some silicone lube in the seal so hopefully that'll get it taken care of. Thus far it hasn't hung up at all.

Same problem in st pete fl...
It seems to be a heat issue.
I think they used a rubber that doesn't do all that well in the heat. usually if I hold the switch for a while it'll eventually pop free.

after i got the silicone lube in there its def alot better. Still gets hung a little bit when its over 98 but overall its doing well.
