I was wondering if anyone on this forum has a picture of a mp3 or msp with the Eibach Sportline springs. I have done the search and found many proteges with the Eibach pro-kit. I want to lower my msp and have narrowed my selection to either spool, tein, or Eibach. I have seen pictures of proteges lowered with spool springs and teins springsand just wondering what a msp or mp3 looked with the eibach sportline springs installed.

Thanks Ion I forgot about yours. I remebered a thread awhile back about them. A question though you said that the race springs will shorten the life of the factory struts in the msp. What kind of decrease in lifespan for the struts (in percentages) would say.

STLBLKMSP - life span will probably decrease by ~15% or so (since you have the Tokicos on the car stock, it's much stronger then the factory P5 struts). But even if you go with Eibach, H&R, TEIN etc they don't tell you that your strut's life expectancy will decrease. If the strut is being operated out of it's designed range, then wear will occur faster.

The harder you drive it, the less the life expectancy. However if you're on glass smooth roads, your life expectancy should be only ~3% less then stock.

To the best of my knowledge, Eibach only makes the Pro-Kit for the 3rd gens.

I have been to Eibach's website. They only make the prokit for the p5, but have the prokit and sportline kit for the protege sedan.
