Any way to turn on smart-turn without a touchscreen?

I just purchased a 2014 CX-5 without a touch screen and I'd like to turn on the smart turn feature. The dealer actually wants to charge me for doing this, which seems crazy to me, as I could have asked them to do this for me before I bought it had I known it existed. It really can't be that difficult, right? Anyone know?

I agree that charging you for this is crazy. According to the service manual for my 2013, the way to change this setting without the audio system control is to connect an M-MDS to the car. That would be the dealer's computer. http://www.mazda.co.nz/what-heck-m-mds. Doesn't look like you can do this at home.
