any way to fix the CAI metal on metal rubbing issue?

topic,, i.e. there seems to be such a tight fit under the hood, that one of clamps for my Injen CAI is running slightly against the factory wire harness. the metal against metal friction causes an annoying sound when I am driving at low speeds,,,,,, not a loud sound or anything, just annoying because it sounds like a cheap bolt-on when in fact it is a high-quality part.

any way to fix this issue? my mechanic took a quick look when I was getting an oil change, and he basically said it is what it is, there is really not much space to move anything around in that area.

thx

Is the injen similar to the MS CAI? It shouldn't be near any wiring harnesses if it is. Try loosening the clamps and repositioning the pipes. My CAI doesn't rub anything.

could always use a large rubber grommet, wrapped around the intake at that point of contact.
ofc make sure the rubber is high heat resistant...
