when i had my civic...i was scared everyday of my life about it getting stolen. civics and integras always get stolen everyday.

i was wondering do anyone steal mp5's?


anyone have any theft problems?

I dunno about where you live but here in the Springs (central Colorado even) a P5 is a rare thing to see. You'd have to be a dumbass to steal one. Especially if it was my bright ass yella one.

i live in the northern virginia area where we have one of the highest car theft problems for hondas and acuras

i sure hope nobody here knows anything about mp5

Rate of car theft is directly tied to the demand for the parts of said car. Since there really aren't all that many P5's the theft rate is low.

Like Webster said it's all about what the parts on the car can go to. It's not about the car. Moving a stolen car is nearly impossible in its complete form, but parts will move easily. As for P5s, MSPs, etc. there is like zero demand because they're parts don't go to a lot of different vehicles. I live in Hawaii and trust me this is the capital of Honda/Acura theft. But I don't know anyone who had their Protege stolen. Some get broken into for stereos and I suppose rims might get stolen, but the protege just isn't common enough to justify stealing it.

Yup, I was worried about the same thing when I got out here, but my MSP has been fine. But I bet you anything if I brought my Del Sol Si out here it would be gone in no time cause of the common Civic/Integra parts it uses.
