Any photographers in here?

EDIT: He posted a Picasa link to better quality images so you can click on the pictures to see larger versions.
Please excuse the horrible quality (facebook). I do not have full res access to them yet.

But here are some of the images I took with a friends camera of the steel wool spinning.

I was kneeling right in front of the guy while he was doing this. It was insane. I was ducking my head and I could see the sparks bouncing off my crotch and chest. Quite warm as a matter of fact.

Hollywood..nice man..nice location! Would there have been a way for you to get the sun just before sunset?

Some critique if you don't mind?

1. shadow on her face. maybe use something to reflect and fill that in? mind the shadows

2. Squinting. Facial expression and pose look uncomfortable. Looks like you snapped in between her saying something

3. I wish the crop would be closer on the left side.

Sweet dude. There's a guy on flickr that does this all the time. Is that your friend?

From you funky, i never mind...
1. i realized after doing this shoot that i need to pick up a reflector if i plan on continuing portrait work , which i do (any suggestions)
2. This picture was taken while she kept moving, the expression wasn't ideal but the its the best one from the set with the fabric so its y i chose it
3. why?

Is that near the South Beach Park or Lummus Park area? I usually head out there when visiting family. The last photo kinda clues me in to the area.

To answer 3...I have no idea. To me it feels better hehe.

One thing though...ya ya..I know....the pose on the first pic...it feels very weird to me. Looks like she is an amputee at the knees. Maybe take that right thigh, and move her right knee down closer to the ground so that it's in front of her left leg. This way we can see some of her calf and maybe her feet too and she won't look like she got chopped at the knees :)

Close, its actually crandon park south on key biscayne

Ahhhhh that makes sense now.. Lack of people, beach chairs, etc... Beautiful place. I love watching the sun rise.

Edit: I don't know what it is, but I like the model from the last two photos over the other one. I think it's the expression of her face.

I like the first 3 in that set. THe 2nd photo..too much space on the right side. Composition could be a bit better. SHe' not exactly in the middle either so that's why it looks off. I think the 2nd and 1st are the 2 best shots there.

Woot! I have a model shoot with my car at the end of the month. Please be kind.

I need to get on that too...

Cruised with a beautiful red FD RX7 today on the way to work. Had my camera with me and got a couple rolling shots. I'll post them up when I can. More France photos for now:
