Just me having some fun at the range with the AK. Safety was on for the shot. Those casings fly out far.

I must say I love Nikon's Camera Control 2 software!! It allowed me to sit inside 30 feet away from the bird house and control exposure, quality, focal points, and even how many shots I wanted to take.

Definitely a challenging day to shoot with TONS of haze and spotty sunlight. I did the best I could with both the photos and the post processing, and I am fairly happy with the result. Any suggestions or comments on how to cope better next time are greatly appreciated!

That first pic..increas teh fill light slider in cs4 just a bit to bring out more detail in the shadows.
 
o.k guys so im pretty much a noob.....Have had my Nikon D40 for a few months, still learning it.....let me know what you think.
