yeah, I've heard rotary guys and fixed wing guys don't get along.
(it works on 2 levels, because its a mazda forum)

Sweet.
I must say I love Nikon's Camera Control 2 software!! It allowed me to sit inside 30 feet away from the bird house and control exposure, quality, focal points, and even how many shots I wanted to take.

Definitely a challenging day to shoot with TONS of haze and spotty sunlight. I did the best I could with both the photos and the post processing, and I am fairly happy with the result. Any suggestions or comments on how to cope better next time are greatly appreciated!

That first pic..increas teh fill light slider in cs4 just a bit to bring out more detail in the shadows.

You have a good eye for framing and composition. That's the hardest part to get down - you'll do well with that camera!
