Any photographers in here?

Man, it's amazing how much a "cityscape" shot with benefit from barrel distortion correction and perspective correction. Looks way better when the lines of the building match exactly the edges of the photo.

Is that a ring at the bottom of the "V"? Looks like a ring. That's where my eye immediately went to.

I stuck my camera out the window while driving the other night.

it's a seashell. They pave parking lots around here with asphalt mixed with shell.

Here is the new lens:

I like the remote shooting with the EOS utility on the computer. works very well.

Interesting. Does it make your tires wear out faster? Get flats more often?

Actually, yes, the roads here have a high content of coral rock in them too. There are statistics for how much faster they wear out here, and I'm not sure but I think it's about 30% faster. Sucks.

Here is some more of my gear:

Nice! Every time I see scaffolding, I want to take a picture. I love the geometry.

This pic would look good as a fragment. Like a partial wall, don't include the buildings past the wall, partial window, and doors, etc. just partials. And maybe a bit of post to bring out the color of the wall.

Ok, so im sure this question has been asked a thousand times. but here it goes. I need a new camera. The only one i have is a old ass 3 megapixel Cannon and im pretty sure its not even working. My mom does have a Cannon SD950 IS 12 megapixel, but she rarely ever lets me use it. So I would like to buy my own. Suggestion's on a good camera? Can i get a point and shoot that takes good pics? or should i go with a digital slr? My biggest complaint with my my moms camera and mine is that every picture looks farther than it actually is. It bugs the hell out of me.

Thanks in advance.
