Palace of Fine Arts, way to much fog rolling in and with the lighting on the palace made everything very yellow, going back on a clearer day.

CC welcome, the D90 is taking some getting used to since i was really comfortable with the D40 but i love it so far...

It will take a little getting used to the heavier and larger framed D90 but you get a lot more exterior controls with the D90. Means you don't have to menu dive quite as often which is really nice for shooting on the fly.

Just got a new camera for my B-day. I'll post what it is tomorrow. It's a pocket point 'n shoot, but its got a few party pieces...(rockon)

All these were taken with my iPhone, so the quality and crispness is a bit lackin, it's just a reminder to always have your camera since you never now when there is a picture to snap.

you can get something decent even with a crappy camera

anyone heard of the Nikon 300s? The intarweb is blowing up with rumors about it coming mid august and I was curious if anyone knew anything about it. I'm upgrading from a D60 and want to get something that'll satisfy for a LONG time, but I don't want to get a D300 only to have an upgrade come out a couple weeks later.

So far everything I have read says its getting HD movie capabilities. I think SLR's shooting movies is completely retarded but thats just me. If it makes that much of a different to you then wait.

But if you really want a camera that will last a LONG time go ahead and spend the money on the D700.

I am curious as to why you want to upgrade. I know the D60 is definitely not the best camera on the line but what other reasons do you have?

Dude, your sig makes my internet browser cry... Anything you can do about that?

On a side note, my new little point and shoot takes full HD video... I'm fairly pumped about that!
