You said a little while back so I'm not sure what you are capable of now, but the flashe(s) in this one are too hot and direct. There're highlights in the glass. Maybe diffuse the light more and place them off axis?\

Would my Nikon kit lens be a good lens for this? (18-55)
I only saw fixed focal length lenses in your tuts..

You can use your 18-55. People use fixed lenses because it doesn't involve any zoom and it's a simple lens. Point and then shoot.
I am using my 18-135 for it. You can get better zoom at 18 compared to 135.... kinda weird.

I'm reading that the "G" series lenses (Nikon) are not the greatest to use(with the reversing ring). How do you go about adjusting the aperature with these lenses if you can't do it on the lens?
