Weird...
works perfectly on flickr.
White Balance: Auto

That's weird man. I'll have to fool around on my own camera and let you know what I do to get the results. But I do know this. CS3 has a better blending mode than CS2.
Oh, didnt know that. also, if I dont use auto, the WB is usually weird or off.
Even when I use the settings (Daylight, cloudy, etc) it seems weird. I've never been good at choosing the right one.
I guess I have to re-read all my photography books. I guess I skipped the WB chapters. Most of them suggest leaving it on Auto WB.
I shoot in RAW and adjust the WB in post processing. Previously, I used a grey card when I shot JPG but it became a hassle. If you aren't shooting in RAW, try it once. It makes post processing much easier due to the range you have with the exposure and white balance.
Also, these are straight off the camera. I do not "save for web". I shoot in Raw+jpg mode.
why are you shooting landscapes in F2.8? that explains why the picture is very soft
you should be using F8 - F11

Just did these yesterday in my "home studio".

what does a tripod have to do with that? your shutter speed was 1/1600 at iso 100, you can easily handhold a shot in that lighting even at iso 100
