What is your setup? which macro lens are you using?

NVP5White said:This is a great shot. I like the effect and you PP skills are clearly evident in all three images.
However, the above pic suffers because the coloring from the eye bleeds just slightly onto the eyelid and the sclera (white of the eye) on the lower right. It looks like you faded a circular selection for your mask without adjusting to the actual shape of the iris. The color also effects the key-light reflection in the pupil. There is a slight green/blue coloring which is distracting.
You might also want to consider a more natural coloring of the eye. Its pretty amazing how intense the color of most irises are from close range with good light. Let that amazing natural color show through. Finally, the I might vignette the image to bring focus more to the center. The lightness of the part just below-left of the eye muddies the composition a little.
I love Picasa. I don't want to use many of the features of the "high-end" editors for most of my pictures and Picasa chooses wisely.azian6er said:thanks for the tips!
yeah the focal b/w option is what i used real quick in picassa. Honestly i spent about 3 mins editing if that. If you can believe i didnt sharpen at all, this lens is just money.
I see the bleeding you are talking about, i will attempt to edit that out and also try the fade affect on the exterior of the photo.
Your expertise is appreciated.
