to be honest, that's the reason I don't want to be a wedding photographer... I'm afraid I'd take horrible pictures and be hated by the couple forever. Now I can add getting sued to that nightmare.
I've driven just about anything you could want to drive. The only thing I've never drive that I kind of want to is anything from lambo. But we know the lambo dealer down the street pretty well, so I might pop over there for a test drive. It's a fun business.

The halo/shadow effect doesn't have the same result as a true ringflash, though.

Yeah, sure looks to me like she is wanting to be more of a girlfriend soon. No more camera equipment for you! Time to start saving for a ring and wedding.

I suck at this buying gear stuff. Here is how it goes in my head:
ok she wants a camera so I'll make the logical upgrade to a 50d.
wait, the 7d is only $500 more. hm maybe I should get that.
oh, man, the 5d I is the same price, I should just get that.
hm, the 5d II makes HD movies and it's only $1000 more. I definitely need that instead.
well, for that price, I could get a 1dsII. I'll get that instead.

LOL..the 5dmkII video capabilities is not as good as the 7D. I'm saving up for that 7D.
I have had my 7D now for a week, I have not even used it other than taking a few quick test shots 
the video I am not sure about I never tried it much, the AF is definitely better for sure, more features but not sure about the noise
I will get to test it out this coming week because I will be on vacation
just got back from a week of Grand Teton / Yellowstone
an elk celebrating after a stand down with another bull elk and him stealing a few cows from him
another elk just wondering what the heck we were doing as its standing out in the snow
a coyote mousing in the fresh snow, he caught and munched down a nice fatty to from this pounce
some pics from grand teton
oxbow bend
of course the famous barn very very early in the morning
some night photography with a flashlight of the barn

Here are some HDRs I took while visiting Canada last week. Went for a hike up Mont Tremblant and snapped a few of the amazing foliage. I'll post more from the trip when I can get around to it. For now, enjoy:

They look good Flyin! Not too sure about the second one, that one isn't really doing it for me. Are you using 3 different exposures for those?
