I am having issues getting my FD's turbos to operate properly. It is going to 5 psi for a couple seconds then dropping to 0. I thought it was the actuator on the exhaust manifold acting up so I tied the flapper (the one for the secondary turbo, not the wastegate :) ) open expecting both turbos to just spool in parrallel and it just stays at 0 like that. I am stumped here. I even pulled the lines from teh wastegate actuators with the flapper tied open and it is still sitting at 0. When I got the car, it had bad turbos on it and was boosting around 3 psi then down to 0. Apparently the problem has been there since before I swapped. Any ideas out there?

sounds like to me you have a hose that is cracked , i see that all the time with all the heat down there it happens, on the FD we like to replace all the stock hose with silcone ones

I have checked and double checked every line on this thing. I was thinking the same thing- however- with the exhaust valve open and the wastegates disconnected- it should boost like mad no matter what (unless it is a bad IC hose which I don't see either :( ). Both turbos are spinning smoothly and appear to be operating fine, I am stumped here :). I will double check all the lines again tomorrow, but it still looks good. I may end up breaking down and pulling the upper intake again tomorrow and have another look. I just think it is funny how it would have 5 psi until the second turbo kicks in then goes to 0 and it is 0 if you run htem parrallel. I was thinking the turbo is bad, but it physically looks fine!! Thanks!!
