Animal Cruelty

And to go back on topic, the g/f and I are planning in a few years to adopt a black pug.

PETA is watching you. beware

the dog we had when I was younger would occasionally sneak off with a can and puncture it with her teeth, we would find her in the shower with the broken can licking beer as it poured out.

There is my big ole weeny, we adopted her from a shelter 3 hours away. Best mistake I ever made :D We got her when she was shy...sometimes I miss tho times. She had more than doubled her weight and tripled her energy. If there is a dog ADD this one has it...

DUDE that thing is a big weenie!!

Both of my cats were rescued as well. My sister-in-law had a neighbor who was a flight attendant and left her cat along for long periods of time. The cat got pregnant and had it's babies in the middle of winter. My sister took the mom and babies in. We ended up with the baby brothers:

I've sort of always wanted to be an Animal Cruelty officer.

I'll keep my opinions about PETA to myself, but I will say this: I sure could go for a bacon wrapped filet right now!

... and bulls*** was a good show. I hope they make more of them.

they look cozy as hell...beautiful cats

i have 2 dogs (1 was rescued), and 5 cats that were all rescued. my wife and i donate tons of supplies and volunteer with fund-raisers for the local humane society.

and here is a pic of my dogs with my wife. the little white dog is ella, our american eskimo. she is just over a year old. the bigger dog is our rescued dog. his name is comiskey (yes, im a white sox fan :) ) and he is almost 8 months old and about 65 pounds (and still growing). we got him when he was 4 months and 32 pounds. he is a german shepherd/husky mix. we think he may also have a bit of doberman. we will know for sure once a better dog dna test is available. it sounds crazy, but its relatively inexpensive (~$65) for the test and you can find out what breeds your mutt is. it will give me peace of mind and also help me to better understand his habits and behavioral tendencies. also, both of them have been through level 1 & 2 puppy training courses (positively reinforced, of course). they are still a bit of a handful, but we know all of our hard work will pay off and they are going to be great dogs once they mature.
