Crap! You mean I could have trained my dog to get me beer and I didn't have to get married so my husband could do that?
don't make me ban youI'll beat jared w/ a shoe...
don't make me ban you
And to go back on topic, the g/f and I are planning in a few years to adopt a black pug.
my Dad trained his dog to bring him beer out of the fridge, Dakota earns his kibble.
PETA is watching you. beware
the dog we had when I was younger would occasionally sneak off with a can and puncture it with her teeth, we would find her in the shower with the broken can licking beer as it poured out.
Interesting thread. Especially how people are in the same situations as these animals and we have no idea what to do with them. Adopt a homeless.

There is my big ole weeny, we adopted her from a shelter 3 hours away. Best mistake I ever madeWe got her when she was shy...sometimes I miss tho times. She had more than doubled her weight and tripled her energy. If there is a dog ADD this one has it...
Both of my cats were rescued as well. My sister-in-law had a neighbor who was a flight attendant and left her cat along for long periods of time. The cat got pregnant and had it's babies in the middle of winter. My sister took the mom and babies in. We ended up with the baby brothers:

I've sort of always wanted to be an Animal Cruelty officer.
I'll keep my opinions about PETA to myself, but I will say this: I sure could go for a bacon wrapped filet right now!
... and bulls*** was a good show. I hope they make more of them.
for me:
