Does reducing emmissions by holding in my farts mean that I'm doing my part in saving our fragile planet?
Yes, also, discontinue any consumption of products that come from cows, as we all know cows are polluters too! Down with cows!!!!

Cheney/Haliburton (frontpage news every day for years)
Pelosi/Starkist Tuna (barely touched on by the media)
Al Gore/Generation Investment Management (not mentioned in the media)
William Jefferson/Bank of the Refrigerator (no punishment as of yet)
Dianne Feinstein /MILCON (not reported in media)

I'm sure Cheney will own up when all those others do.

But I'm glad to know that you didn't buy into the whole oil thing. In that we are in agreement.

what if its just a ploy to make it look like it wasn't an oil thing. "Give the lil contracts to the Chinese before you give us Americans the giant contract so it looks better on us!" hahahah the conspiracies never stop

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not! :)

If you are, then bravo!

If not then are we not to purchase ANY oil from Iraq? If we have the companies that are best at dealing with and extracting oil would it not make sense for them to want to do business with us?

Shouldn't the Iraqi's be free to do business with whomever they choose?

Yea...and the idiot Cheney still insists Saddam and Al Queada were in with each other. Dumbass.

hahahah i'm kinda being halfway sarcastic and half way serious. You never know what goes on behind the scenes. Yeah, i guess the Iraqis can do business with whoever they want. Look at Cuba, they turned out great!

This can be argued either way on several fronts.

We're really not staying on topic but Cheney is entitled to his views just like anyone else.

I mean Charlie Sheen still insists that 9/11 was an INSIDE JOB! I have much more contempt for him than for the Vice pres.

I'm glad we took care of Sadaam before be decided to pull a Mamoud on us!

But as V.P. you would think he would stand behind the findings of SEVERAL GOVERNMENT investigations saying there were no ties to Al Queada..

I dont call that a view..I call that being stupid and stubborn. (hand)

Oh and for what it's worth:

Cheeny is the VICE PRESIDENT and Charlie Sheen is a Television actor.

If Pelosi as speaker of the house doesn't have to listen to the Commander in Chief about going to visit a major sponsor of terror and assasination while bungling a job best left to the Secretary of State, then I guess Cheney can be forgiven for stating his views (and the views of others).

But seriously, on topic. Big Oil!!!!! I really don't want this to turn into a Justification for War topic. There are several of those.

You can have the last word on Cheney being an Idiot if you want but if we're gunna bash anything, bash Big Oil!

i'm sure every major politician is in bed with a corporation, as a rite of passage. however, you'll notice that alll the rest of them keep it quiet, while cheney advertised it to planet Earth.

Yes because keeping it quiet makes it right.

BTW theres nothing wrong with being involved with a corporation as long as nothing illegal is going on.

don't get me started about saddam and al qaeda man. you know that isn't true.

I won't get you started becaue thats not the purpose of this thread. It was just meant to show that for all the talk of "stealing oil" as of yet we have reaped NO benefits of Iraqi Oil, and if we do then as long as it has the consent of the Iraqi govt then so be it!

BTW, Thanks everyone for not turning this into a flamefest!
