the elbow is part of the kit but some got sent out before they were done so people are getting them sent separately according to ken

yup, you said M6 X 1.00 X 30 with an M6 Nut

I got this stuff today and tried it out on the pipe with my stock BPV and it works great! Thanks STRICK!

I have everything but my intercooler bracket, BPV elbow, and two T-bolt clamps (they were left out). Hopefully this stuff gets shipped soon.

My pipes and intercooler are collecting dust in my living room!

Yeah I'm missing 3 Tbolt clamps, and I haven't seen the bpv elbow yet. My only complaint about the kit is that the bracket for the core fits like crap, I'm either gonna have to find someone to reweld it, or I may have to fab up my own bracket somehow. The pipes look fucken great though. I had to find an extra coupler to wrap around the pipe that goes in front of the car so that it would not get scratched up.

They were hand making the brackets but switched to a machine shop half way through for that reason.

the pipes and full kits are still for sale. Just PM Ken or go onto the Protegegarage website. Just the pre-order is over so the price has gone up a little. Still an insanely nice buy!!!

everyone's brackets were boxed and shipped, yes. they came out REAL nice. i'm glad i paid for them. even though its going to be an "invisible" part, it still makes me feel better knowing they look and are built that way VS hand made.

someone asked for a parts list of what the final kit will entail. so i'll oblige that.

- intercooler core
- five (5) aluminum pipes
- one (1) 2 to 2.5 inch reducer coupler
- five (5) 2.5 inch straight couplers
- one (1) 2.5 inch long coupler
- one (1) smaller hose clamp
- twelve (12) medium hose clamps
- one (1) larger hose clamp
- intercooler bracket kit
- BPV elbow

if anyone is missing any of these, please PM me right away. the last two items on the list were not included in some of the kits. and as i said, if those of you who got the hand made bracket want to swap it out at my expense, feel free.

for those that want to place new orders, i will not be doing pipe only kits down the stretch. full kits will not be advertised on the website until everyone in the GB is satisfied. thats only fair.

as for the promised goody, everyone has a different car with different setups, so i'd like to address that to everyone's personal need/want.

hey ken, how long are each of those couplers? was comparing my set to a friend who got the same kit and our couplers are a tiny bit different. do you think you could provide lengths for the straight and long couplers?
