Alright I need help!!

The SS AFC comes with R4 software that you hook up to your laptop using a Serial to USB cable.

Here is the driver you will need for the cable. It's the 3rd one down in the USB and Firewire section (DX-UBDB9)

Once you install the software and drivers, you can load any map you'd like. Here is a compilation of some of the more efficient maps created so far. The SS AFC will come with the Supermap loaded, but there are others available.

If your car buckles, get ahold of me and I'll forward you a map that JamesK sent me to fix the hesitation.
Awesome thanks for giving all the links, what do you mean by "if my car buckles," do you mean by lagging?

No, not turbo lag. The MSP ECU is programmed with a super rich tune, which causes fuel cut at wide open throttle. When you experience fuel cut, the car feels like it buckles and hits a wall.. it sucks. But it's pretty common in MSP's, especially once you add an intercooler and free up the intake and exhaust.

Oh I know what your talking about, okay.
I most likely might need that map, being that you needed it.

At some point you will want to uprgrade your clutch and flywheel. There are a few out there who have boosted and are still using their stock NA clutch and flywheel. It's been two weeks since I've boosted and my clutch and flywheel feel just as strong as before.

Word of the wise: Learn as much as you can about boosting. I thought I was pretty familiar until I boosted and I'm once again learning the technical terms.

I too am also going to school and paying for it myself. It took me a couple years to obtain parts and what not.

you don't need to upgrade your flywheel; people just do so instead of having their stock one resurfaced. Not at all necessary to get a lighter one though.

Not necessarily. I'm also running the Turbolife FMIC and 626 IM so I'm cramming a lot more air at higher RPM than you would be. See how the car runs with the Supermap and go from there.

Okay well then I'm good. I had my flywheel resurfaced at the end of june.

Alright well I was talking to metallic36 and she's boosting on a GT28RS turbo and sounds like a really good turbo from what she told me. but is it a ball bearing? Also is the stock MPS turbo ball bearing?

Yes, both are dual ball bearing turbos. The MSP turbo is a GT2554R

Well I just got a new clutch, master and slave, but I was planning later down the road to get one just was wondering if it was a need as soon as I would turbo. That's cool man, yeah its hard to work and go and pay for school and at the same time wanting to do something like turboing a car. I'm hoping to turbo by next summer at the latest.

Awesome, I think I'm just going to go with the GT2554R now that I know its dual ball bearing.

Will a oil drip can be a good small addition to a Turbo set up?

would I need to get better engine mounts?

With the whole Turbo set up with the GT2554R how much whp would I be putting to the wheels?

Stiffer engine mounts would definitely be a good idea. As far as HP goes, you'll be pretty much identical to a stock MSP. Maybe a hair faster if you get a FMIC instead of the heat soaking SMIC and open up the intake and exhaust a bit. I would say you'd be around 170 wheel HP depending on your setup.

Alright well I got really good deal on a OBX Turbo header so thats the first thing on the list to check off. Hooking up my gages..is it rather easy to do that? and I was thinking I was going to with Glow shift gages, are they any good?

Turbo manifold wise, is the OBX Turbo manifold the only manifold I can get or is there something better then that out there?
