Alpine Radio set-up

:
2002 Red Protege 5
Unfortunately for me, I got somewhat of a system in my old truck.....Nissan Frontier, I have an Alpine deck cda-7893, and I have 6.5" type R speakers...spr-174a, I just got the stuff, about a month ago, I wasn't planning on getting a new car so soon until I got the price....but anyways......

The truck only has 2 speakers, I know that the rear speakers in the mp5 are 6.5, but I hear that they need some modification for aftermarket speakers to fit, I'm not sure what size the front speakers are yet, but I know that they are in the 5" area. I wanted to know what a good alpine amp and sub would be for this car. I know that in a truck space is so valuable so you really only use 10" subs, but I haven't gotten enough money to get one, I'm wondering what size amp and sub I should get, and if I should stay with the type r speakers or not...they make a 6 x 9", a 6.5", and a 5 1/4" type r speaker.....they make an r series sub, which is what i'll probably get, but they make so many different ones I'm not sure which ones to get. I want the car to have good bass, and revolve around brand uniformity...alpine, but I'm not competing with it so it doesn't have to have 5 amps and such. Just good bass that people know that time and money was put into the system, anyways enough of my rambling, thanks in advance for the help.

(stupid)

if you want all alpine get speakers in the same line so their sensitivity and power handleing characterisitcs are close if not similar, in your case Type R.

if money isn't that big of an issue this setup will sound good, i have heard all Type R speakers and are very good in SQ

Frt Spk: Alpine 5x7 Type R's coaxial
RR Spk: Alpine 6.5" Type R's coaxial (will need some mods)
Subs: Dual 10" Alpine Type R Subs SWR-1021D (Dual Voice Coil subs ran in series and in parrallel with each other so (2+2)//(2+2) = 2Ohms Total)
SubAmp: MRD-M500 mono amp 500w RMS x 1 @ 2ohm @ 14.4v
SpkAmp: MRV-F540 4ch Amp 100w RMS x 4ohm @ 4ohm @ 14.4v @ 0.3% THD

i believe 100w Rms should power the Type R speakers fairly well, they can take more power but it should be good nuff to make you def :)
