Hesitation
Creak(front)
Clunk(rear)
Bad CD Deck
Rear rattle?
Bad Steering Rack bushings
Alignment
Miss
Cold motor rattle(sounds horribble)
Poor charging system
Tranny issues(horribble shifting,clutch slips sometimes?)
Warped and EXTREMELY RUSTY rotors @ all four corners
Blown sub
por mazda service AND runs so rich smokes out the back

Problems

So I've got most of these problems with my car. One that I haven't seen elsewhere is a shift in my idling.
I'll be driving on the highway and then at an off-ramp red light, the idle will just drop and jolt to the whole car. That can't be good.

craked front windshield
upper ic nipple broke
warped front rotors
Clunk from rear bushings
rusty as hell brake hubs
Crunch from front bushings when cold
squeak from rear bushings
Shifter squeeks while shifting
Compressor surge
clutch does not come up when i lift off fast

Hesitation (Better after flash)
Cracked Windshield (#4 getting installed next week, since July 03, 32K miles)
Rear Bushing Squeek (Replaced)
Rusting Rotors
Sub Woofer cuts out (replaced once, still intermittent problem)
Bumper Trim coming off (Getting replaced next week)
Bumper Trip Paint flaked off near wheel (Getting replaced next week)
Alignment (Stock tires lasted 15K miles and had uneven wear)
Radio Head Unit getting stuck in flipped position

Holy freakin hell

I thought I was trippin, mine started grinding @ less than 4000 and now @ almost 9 its still the same and I have just not taken the time to take it in. So... I guess I will be maken that phone call in the morn to make an appointment to see what they say and I will post the finding & results.

Dog Damn it ! What happen to the first 1? OK 1.hesitation 2.bushing 3.coolent leak STILL will be the 5th time to take it in just for that as of now it is @ a half of a bottal or less still have the smell ever time I stop. 4. power cut 5. kicks back for no reason. 6. pulls to the right. etc etc the next time I drive I will take notice.(uhm)

4/25/04MORE (poke) 7. POWER surge, 8. Uneven ware on rotors 9. RUST on all four rotors not just on the contact points, inside and out. 10. 1 coat of paint no sign of primer. Hope I don't have to come back and ad MORE ! (pissed)

4/26/04 ; 11. Thought I better start dating these, OMG the MPG, I filled it up to day $22 and I reset my [A]odometer ever time I fill up(argh)(argh) I had 301 miles on a full tank of 93 Octain (argh) (argh) , I get better mpg with my 86 Honda Prelude that has 13" wheels and doing 90. I was under the impression that the turbo was suppose to give better mpg. 12. I had the new rear bushing put on weeks after I bought the car BUT today I heard it again ! ! !

Hesitation (Even after flash)
Clunk in both front and rear (Rear replaced, still clunks)
grinding noise when turning the wheel all the way (Stock wheels and tires)
Hard braking makes a sound like then engine is sliding forward and slamming
Creak in suspension
Rattling Sub
Coolant leak (fixed with hose clamp from dealer)
Brittle and Cracked Wastegate hose
Rattle from rear of car
pulsating in power like the AC is kicking on, but it's not even on....(new today)
Extreme heatsoak in intercooler
Clutch popping when pedal is depressed
Alarm freaked out (Replaced by Dealer)
Head Unit face flips out and dies (needs reset constantly)
Clutch chatter when shifting and downshifting into 3rd and 4th gear

OK I called them up this morn and luckily they were slow so they told me to come on in, of course it damp and drizzling this morn and when they check it out the pucker wouldnt do it so... they asked me if I could make it do it. I tried with no luck. Now I have to go back when the sun is out and the air is some what DRY.(bang)

-Wheels scratched from day 1, tech ran through auto wash
-alarm not functioning at all at purchase
-Sub fails, replaced with refurbished sub
-New Sub and amp rack assembled poorly, had to be rebuilt
-rear dash rattles
-Hesitation issue, resulting in overall lack of Zoom-Zoom
-Rear bumper begins to fall off, gets progressivly worse
-coolant leak
-rear bushings failed in under 100miles, rear clunk
-front shocks sqeak very loudly
-Loose "callaway" elbow on air box, ready to fall off...intake replaced
-brake rotor hubs covered in rust
-frequent radio lockup/blackout
-40 amp BTN fuse continually blows
-leaky windows

Mazda needs to see this thread!! The result needs to be an extension of warranty or a buy-back option. I have already wasted so much god damn time and money taking my car in and dealing with these problems. Thanks BoostisGood for starting this thread.

stinky when reved up
notchy shifting 1-2
bad oem clutch
hard to get into Reverse
rear struts (soon to be replaced)

these are all small yet annoying problems
 
I got a new one to had.
exaust gasket leak
how does an exaust gasket go bad (unless you really screw it up putting it in)??
 
Defective molding (looked like someone poured acid on it) on passenger side mirror ( 5 trips to dealership, 3 false calls on replacement, 20 calls to mazda canada, 6 months later got it at another dealership)
Defective weather strip passenger window (looked like someone had fun with a knife, 20 calls to mazda canada, 4 months wait, mountain mazda "fixed" it, took it to another dealership who knows how to change oil and fix weather stripping properly)
Sub Blown...6 months wait.....5 minutes of bass....1 month wait...baught a new system
Hesitation, poor fuel mileage-flashed....hesitation...poor fuel mileage
clunk in the trunk -fixed
squeak in the front...waiting for dealership parts
really aweful overly expensive tint from dealership that was peeling.....drove to tint provider directly where they sorta fixed it....
grinding in 1st and 2nd when switching gears with clutch to floor....then again....50,000km on car, maby time to get clutch checked
kenwood deck acting possessed, tryed to eat my fingers when pulling out a cd, waved my hands around and said a prayer, hasent happened since
fuel cut/turbo just disengages or something on highway....apparent detination according to dealership, now using 93 instead of 91 octaine...
major wheel hop occuring in the last 10,000km i have put on
car violently pulls to the left in the past 2 days
Nice plesant smell of coolent
Still the best car I've ever owned (2thumbs)
 
-Hesitation
-Rear sway bar clunk
-After 156E bushings and a winter of driving got Rear sway bar squeek,
even when just sitting down in the car.
-Front suspension squeak
-Warped front rotors
-Haywire alarm (was also set way too sensitive from the factory)

and the latest

-Wastegate is stuck open causing boost leak...getting a new turbo put in tomorrow.
