Alamo1's P5-T Build

Pulled my exhaust, mocked up the pope DP, dropped the oil and coolant. Got a busy weekend so the wife let me have tonight. Next week comes changing thermostat housing, install coolant sensor in the upper main rad hose for the microtech, dropping the oil pan and girdle for yet another attempt at a proper oil drain. This will be four holes in the girdle and probably more to come! All for 3" straight pipe exhaust.

 
Finally got the oil drain fixed to work with my PEP downpipe. I am so sick of taking this damn MBSP off. Atleast I won't have to do it again unless I blow the motor. I turned up the boost. Should be able to do about 12 psi on the microtech.

 
Any suggestion on cheap muffler/resonator ideas to keep me from getting pulled over? I was thinking a glass pack like a cherry bomb or blue bottle.
 
Anything like a glasspack will work, they just dont last very long. Whats the piping painted with?
 
Shes alive and well. Took it out for some road tuning and it went pretty well. Still some bugs to work out of the tune but at 8psi she pulls like she should and builds boost 5-600 rpm lower with the three inch exhaust.
 
That last statement will prove to be false.

It will not build lower.. It will just build quicker once it starts to build..
 
Alamo - hats off to you for doing this man.

Just for my 2 cents - have you any plans to dyno tune it now, vs the way it used to run? show some plots from a previous tune (with the old setup) and plots on the new setup/tune to show where it starts building boost. Just because someone says it's not a certain way on the internet - doesn't mean it's gold.
