Alamo1's P5-T Build

I had some serious help getting started as this was my first ever soldering project on my own. My bro in law is a computer hardware engineer so he showed me some tricks.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments. Makes it worthwhile to keep updating my thread.

Awesome build man! clean stuff, kudos!
keep those pics coming!:D
Its awesome to read projects like yours cause I get to learn stuff too:)

Well I sold the GT3071R to a co-worker. I figure it's a little out of my horsepower goals for the next while anyways, so now I have some cash for starting my engine build. My S14 turbo should hold me to till about 300HP, which looks like a couple years away at the rate I'm able to bring in car cash.

Got the microtech 3/4 wired. Just have to hook up tps, wtemp and airtemp. I'll be happy to have this rats nest dealt with and out f the way. Especially cuz it can be unplugged if need be.

I just used the new app to post these pics and while nice to post pics remotely, the app is not very impressive at all.

so after reading this thread. im determined to boost after all. might even stop the process on buying coil overs etc just to turbo lol

Good to hear. Good luck. I've put alot of time into just reading. Make sure you know what you're getting into and that you have people close by to help, who know more than you. My friends have been worth more than gold on many occasions.

Just as a side note I've got some wrx 440's coming. See what this tired old motor can take.

Some folks have asked for pics of my DocB oil system setup routing so I've finally gotten around to it.

Not really. Just saw it on another thread here and did my own thing. If you plan on doing it by hand good luck it'll take you atleast a week straight. I had a milling machine and it took me a good part of a Saturday. Search it. Unless you're turbo or supercharged the porting wont make gains. It may actually hurt performance.
