noclue, Um pesterd david mspeed267....he mounted his in his glove box, and ran the wires/vac. line thru the grommet on the passengerside where the mainharness goes thru. Very clean and easily accessible location...On our test guys setup we mounted it to the psngr. firewall....basically it depends on what you want to do.. If you plant on using the recording feature, then you'll want to mount it inside somewhere so you can hook it up to the laptop to record the data, if you just plan on loading maps and such the engine bay will be fine...the unit is water proof, shock resistant, and heat resistant.
