DSM, I have a question: Can the AFC control a wideband O2 (i.e. can it take a wideband input and convert it to a narrowband output for the ECU)? I'm wondering if I only have to buy a wideband sensor, or if I have to buy the whole sha-bang with the control box.
DSMConvert, do you know the answer to this?

subscribed cant wait till the next group buy. MAybe this time Ill be one of the lucky ones!!

DSM posted a GB price and a regular price ($325 I believe). I think the GB went over so well that they're going to do another, then after they've recovered from making them, we'll be able to buy them w/o a GB.

ok I'm on the first group buy and decided not to install the device. so i'm going to sell it. If you give me $305 its all your. It breaks down like this i paid 285 for the unit, 10 for shipping to me from DSM and 10 more for me to ship to you.
I don't want to install it because I don't want to void my extend warrenty.

Also i currently do not have the unit but as soon as the unit gets to my house, it will be sent to you.

PM if you want it.

I'm interested in yours, but I have a question about what map your unit will have on it, I would like the 10 psi map. I guess that shouldn't be a problem. Also you wouldn't have to ship it. Just let me know.

afc

Im interested in this if no one else has replyed. Ill let you know in the morn or as soon as you reply.

Although not sure, I suspect that an FCD might still be necessary for the 8 PSI map. With a CAI and 3" exhaust I hit fuel cut ALL the time to the point where I couldn't get on the gas at all in a serious way. I didn't touch the boost with a BC but with the freer flow I would spike at 8.5 PSI boost before settling down at 7.5. After the FCD things improved quite a bit. Now with the cold weather the car runs even better although I was expecting things to get worse with the denser air.

After this GB and everyone starts to give their feedback I think that I'll have to pick one of these units up and run the 8 PSI map.

I am assuming DSMConvert, that these can be installed in an incognito stealth fashion? My MSP tech is pretty good about mods, but no sense taking chances.

Well I have no warrenty. Im very interested in the way these maps can be changed out. I know that DSM makes great products and cant wait for the next group buy,and some feedback as well!!

hehe well it took Evil close to a week to find the unit in his own car.....Its black and about the size of a cassette tape, so it blends very well with the engine bay or under the dash...

I thought this eliminated Fuel Cut...Or maybe I misred. I thought these changed the signals the ECU gets from the MAF as to prevent Fuel Cut...

it does to a certain extent..that is it will only control fuel cut up to the maps that we have set....the fcd is a "bonus" as a result of modifying the signal the ecu sees from the maf. So to sum it up you will not need a FCD while using the appropriate boost for the map you are running. Of course there is always a chance that conditions will arise that we weren't able to test for. We're attempting to mimick every possible weather and driving condition we can imagine, but obviously we wont be able to catch them all untill we have you guys using them all over the place.

Just got this thing installed, i was going ot sell the unit but after driving it, its much smoother and decided 300 dollars is worth it.
