Ready to buy one :D! which one should I go with? I was thinking K & N, but I heard you need to librate those often or something like that. as far as installing, I have installed an air intake before on my friends Integra so wouldn't be an issue, now its just which one is better :D

K&N Filters need to be cleaned and re-oiled(1) every 50 Thousand Miles or so.
(More frequently if you're doing a lot of dust-eating, but since this is Mazdaforums, not JeepDesertRats forum, figure on 50 thousand.)

1- Follow K&Ns instructions completely. If you do it like they tell you the filter will last longer than you will, and your engine will be well protected.

If you don't let it dry properly, or put on too much oil, you may have problems.

K&N is more for American cars. I would go with the Fujita F2 or AEM. Both good intakes. I have the Fujita F2 Cold Air Intake on my 3 and i love it. Gas, Power, and Sound all great pluses from my CAI.

I went with a short ram air because I'm worried about hydro-lock. It sits just behind the headlight. I was worried about getting a CAI because it sits so low to the wheel well. With my SRA I left the inlet to the OEM air box to block the water and I've had absolutely no troubles after driving in heavy rain, snow and HUGE puddles.

depends on what you want, some give better low end grunt but lack the high end where as others help with more top end but lose some grunt
