Air blowing out around exterior door handles

Being a bit chilly this morning I went out and started the CX5 to warm it up a bit. I put the defrost blower on high and went back inside. When I went back out to the car and reached for the handle, I felt a weak stream of air coming out. It was noticeable on all 4 handles.

I guess when you turn the blower on high and you "pressurize" the cabin, the air has to escape from somewhere... I've just never noticed it coming from the door handles. My only concern is if air can get out, can water get in?

If water was getting in, this forum would be flooded (pun intended) with complaints.

I think it's safe to say the doors are designed to keep water out of the cabin. Water always leaks past the wiper strips at the bottom of any window that rolls down and that's why all car doors have drain holes inside. Cabins are designed to have positive pressure when driving and the cabin fan assists in this goal too.
