Not comparing the wheels on the car but the tires on the wheels lol.... They are 17x8 +35 so was wondering if 235 will be too much after seeing the 225's on them...

Depends on what size it is. For all we know those could be 225/50's, which is completely different compared to 225/40s. Its all in the ratios... Goto tire rack, pick out a tire and click on "specs" Itll tell you the tread width, sidewall height, everything. I think 235/45's could work on a 8.

Why get a 45 series? a 235/40 will have more then enough sidewall, and it will fit alot easier....well actually, just did the math.
Its only a mm difference in height, so I guess either way would work.

If I like my friends Volk TE37's 17x9 +28 offset, I might get these http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1081 Would +25 work still? Rear in not concerned at all (Rear Link Kit, just the front with my carbon fiber fenders.
