17x9 with what offset? you dont even need a pull to fit a 17x9 +35, you can fit that pretty easy with a 205/40

i was thinking +35 but my struts are slotted(lowering springs and coils) and it didin look like i would have enough room to clear the rim so i was goin to add a 6mm spacer on top of that to clear the strut housing

lol you got plenty of room with that offset, if i can fit a 9.5" wheel at +38, that 9" should fit no problem

oh ok sounds good, but was that with coilovers or regular struts just outta curiosity

coilovers, but the coilovers actually had less clearance then the OE struts. I had to grind away some material to get them to clear.
Its hard to explain what I did, but with the 17x9's you should have plenty of room for some decent camber (at least -2) with the slots. if not then I guess you can buy some small spacers and add more camber

found out my stock struts are badly blown, looking to get coilovers now. Had my eye on BC's then protege garage had to make it more difficult by adding yellowsports in the same price range.
Circuit how much camber you get out of the rear? or did you use camber bolts?
have to say, your car is inspiration, and is probably my favourite P5 i've seen yet

Thanks! With the BC's you can get about -2.3* camber in the rear since the top strut holes are slotted.

Speedware is a good place, I hang out there from time to time. They sell anything and everything you want/need. They don't advertise a lot of the parts they cab get.

Only the BR-Type is made for Proteges I believe

Cool, I have a guy here locally that sells BC coils for 995 tax included. If they do have rear slotted strut holes then I will buy them!!!
