Aftermarket Clutch Problem

Hey guys, I recently got a clutchmasters Stage I, and really it's great, I have no problem with it.

My problem is, I have apparently too much low end torque for the car since the addition of the fidanza flywheel and clutch. My shifter linkage started to jump out of it's mounts when I would feather/drop the clutch, racing. Maybe it is a problem with the engine mounts, pulling the linkage forward, or possibly the little rubber linkage mount that actualy holds the linkage.

This is the normal setup under the shifter, just above the main cat. heatshield. The metal ball on the end of the linkage is the bottom of my B&M shifter.

This is the linkage after a race, when the linkage is pulled off the rubber mount, and the shifter falls about 3" through the console, making the shortest shifter in a protege.

this is what I blame, even tho it can just be the engine mounts

Kartboy, any ideas?

Main question: This happen to anyone else?

This happened to my car all the damn time once the B&M was installed. We went to Home Depot, bought a tight rubber stopper and wedged it on the end to secure it better. No problems since.

jamemd a rubebr stopper in what part? the actual metal tube that sticks through the mount? I noticed it's hollow
