Hello guys,
I installed LED Door Scuff on my 2013 CX5 GT, everything works fine, LED lit-up when the doors are opened however my AFS started flashing and the manual says this is a malfunction. I called the dealer and was told that it might require an ECU/(CPU?) reset. Anyone here, ever tried resetting their ECU and how? Thanks.....

You might first want to try disconnecting and reconnecting the negative battery cable. You may have to reset/initialize TPM system, power windows and sunroof after disconnecting battery. Instructions for doing all are in OM. All that may sound daunting, but other than the time it takes to check the air in your tires for correctly initializing TPM, the rest of the procedures take just a few seconds.

Well it seems like the wire tapping done on the car messed up the AFS module. Lesson learned on this is DON'T mess with your CX-5 GT electronics system unless what you are installing is OEM. If it's aftermarket stuff that requires wiring connection don't do it. It will cost me now $511.00 dollars for an accessory worth $50.00. (no)(no)

I've had LED door sills installed, forwards and rear blinker LED replacements, both using wire taps (front later converted to solder) amp and sub installed.. no issues... None of which was OEM. Probably improper install to be honest.

I've got the LED door sills, installed them myself. No issues for two months now.

need assistance (AFS fuse/relay block which one?)

Also check if the fuse blew

PART 1:
Guys / Gals, let's do abit of some Analysis here as the usual CASA fix is to replace everything and at usual exorbitant prices....

I. here is over-all AFS system description : below show's harness; also indicates AFS Control module just near to Driver Upper/LH footwell (with Grey connector casing)?; HeadLight Swivel and actuator (of course at the headlights ; Auto-Levelling sensor at the rear hatch.

II. AFS / HL Auto Levelling Block Diagram.
show AFS Control Module gets feedback fm. Sensors; then directs actions to LEVELLING & SWIVEL Actuators on the HeadLamps; also show's Fuse/Relay connected to it. with my Suspect Cause #(1) Installer messed up and Electrically Shorted something when he was probing which / where to connect the LED DR Scuff lights....and possibly damaged Fuse/Relay.....

connector numbers and description:

Looks like AFS Ctrl Module : just a big Grey lump, wrapped with Grey Plastic box All showing Connectors

Here is the Engine Bay FuseBox, but couldn't trace which is the one connected to AFS?
{ANYONE HELP Identify w/c one???}

Driver Footwell: Fuse Box (AFS NOT IN HERE!)

My first thought was that the additional pull from the sills (albeit small) was enough to cause the afs to throw a fault. Wondering if OP dried a disconnect of the sills followed by a reset to see if the dash light would go out.

According to the diagram you posted, there are two fuses to check, both in engine bay. SRS1 (7.5 amp) and Meter1 (10 amp)
