AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

hope this is not too dumb of a question, i just ordered my ssafc and it all the wires splice together passanger side floor under the carpet, here is my question,, the plug and play cord, is it long enough to re rout somehow so every time i want to plug in i dont have to take my floor apart? or how do you guys do it?

ehhh... unless they changed something, there's no plug and play for the ssafc, only the splicing right into the ECU wires, and the O2 sensor you need to splice it before it splits up into 3 other wires ( I forget why, I think they are other ground or some kinda safety wires or something, forgot what there called).. but unless you make your own "pnp" harness for it.. by just splicing into the ECU harness with your own seperate wires and than connecting them to that...

oh wait, I think I just realized what you meant, you mean the actual AFC box.. ya that is long enough, and I wouldn't mount that under the floor anyways, put it into your glove box, I screwed my into the side, but double sided tape works too, and than run the vac line from there, it's much much cleaner/and easy to get to for tuning.. just make sure you zip tie all the wires and vac lines to something but not so tight they pull when you open your glove box. there is a How To: on here about it that has pics I think still unless they took them off, in that case I should have taken pics when I redid mine for my new car.. but I was in a rush to get to OCC last summer lol

ya the second part was what i was talking about and i am glad i can put in my glove box, thats nice. and i am trying to locate that how to thread, if someone finds it, post the link

Well since this is the MSP section, I don't think there is one posted in this thread. I would try asking Ken from PG if he knows of one.

I know it's the msp section, but it's also a split second thread...of which that i have.

so he said that they are just on the forums, but i've been looking around for awhile, but luck for searching for N/A maps...

does anyone have a link they could throw up or pm me? that would be awesome! thanks! (bowdown)

I'm honestly not even sure how a N/A map would look like, I guess it would be as if we tuned the msp out of boost? which would be interesting, would have to do a full tune I would think.. , but sorry I have no idea where 1 is

not to mention I hate to be negative but from what I hear the ss afc is pretty much useless on a N/A. Even though it can still be used I just dont see the sense. My buddy used the ss afc on his es with a mp3 ecu and the a/f may have been a lil better but there was very little to no power gains. The car ran pretty much the same to the feel. . . slow. Go turbo man. By the way yes he did make his own map. Just use a wideband and you can make your own as well. Just dont forget, his even with a perfect a/f ratio didnt see any kind of performance increase. Just felt a lil cleaner. Either way good luck

i can't see how improving the AF ratios wouldn't result in a power gain... it may not be a lot because the MP3 tune is pretty good already, but on a non-MP3 I could see it being worthwhile, especially after modding the car, as any mod will start to throw some dead spots into a factory tune.

hey guys. I've got Zachs car at my shop, and to get it running closer to normal, i'd like to get a map closer to what he's got going on. if you have something, please do pm or respond.

he's got-
built motor, 505 zoom manifold, 440 injectors, perrin fuel rail, walbro fuel pump, canadian EGR, steedspeed turbo mani, garrett 28rs,corksport spipe, vibrant tbe, turbolife fmic, injen intake ss afc

thanks guys, appreciate any help!

because, that IM will change everything about the air flow of the system vs anything else that currently exists, so you need to change the fuel delivery to match.

yeah i didn't understand that at first. i thought you literally meant the intake..like the injen. hah

welp. hopefully someone's got something. cuz it's a b****.

well even if there is someone who has a map that is somewhat close, such as everything mostly except for the IM, than it would be a better start than the supermap..

565cc Injector Map

Hey guys, Im posting my 565cc fuel injector map that i've been working on because I looked on here for one but didn't find any. I have only been working on it for about a slow week so I still need to make changes to it, but it is a good starting point for anyone with 565cc injectors who is having problems. I live in about 55-75 degree weather if that helps you out at all also. Look at my signature for my mods.

P.S.-It still runs kinda rich in the high PSI ranges and kinda lean in some spots, but bare with me, Im still working on it.

P.S.-Yes, I know that i should be using 440cc injectors but i got a great deal on these 565's so give me a break.

Go to these links to get to it, each is a different format so try both to get it to work.

I can understand if the 565's you got were cheap, but I thought you are supposed to use smaller injectors to tune up and can't tune bigger one's down? Am I wrong?

Actually it is opposite, you can down tune bigger injectors but can't tune above the smaller injectors, so if you had the stock 280 injectors then there is no tuning above 280. Make sense?
