AFC Map

Does anyone by chance have a SS AFC Map tuned for a FMIC in California? If you do hook a brother up! I have not had the chance to get mine dynoed nor will i in the future.

there is a fmic map on his web-site. its not for any specific place though. why dont you give that a try first?

Yeah i got that on my AFC now. Still feels kinda funky. Im actually using the supermap and it seems to run alot better than the FMIC map. Do you know what state that FMIC was made in?

im pretty sure he adjusted it so it would work in a big variety of conditions. if you want a more personal tune i think the only way to go would be find someone in california (you'll be lucky i think) or go get the car dynoe'd and work from there.

don't use the FMIC, I have yet to hear confirmation that he got rid of the lean condition at high RPMS. Stock super map is the best, someone posted their AFR plot and it was perfect. They had an FMIC, and other bolt ons. I run that MAP and like it.

I like it too, but i have ot turn the boost up yet. I think it might run alittle better if i boost 8 psi.

I have a vibrant exhaust, MAM FMIC.. Im working on getting the MAM manifold and corksport s-pipe. Then i will turn it up to 8 or 10.

Get an engine management setup first.

I was thinking about an MPI, but with i have you think the AFC is enough?

You should be fine running 10 lbs on the supermap with your mods. Buy a wideband then you can monitor your a/f ratios, that way you have piece of mind.

Thats exactly what i need as well, a wideband. Thats on the want list.
