Aeroforce/Dashhawk/ or Regular Boost Gauge

dash hawk is great. really good support the product keeps getting better. cobb's AP is suposed to be released at the end of this month but only time will tell on that. the AP is suposed to be able to display paramaters on it im not sure how many at one time and all that kind of stuff. from what iv read you will still be able to use the dashhawk if you load your cobb maps on to the ECU as oposed to running the maps activly on the controler.

Just remember that all of these devices read the OBDII port, which is reading the stock sensors, so if you put a MAP clamp on, you still need a boost gauge, because all any of these will show is what the clamp is set to.

If and when the AP ever comes out, won't it be replacing the maps in the ECU and thus be controlling the boost, etc, without the need for a map clamp? If so, then the AP should be able to display the true boost. Anyone know how the AP works as far as this is concerned?

They took delivery of their R53 GTR the other day. MS3 on the backburner again.

Why would they put the MS3 AP on the backburner because of the GTR? Do they have more GTR customers than MS3 customers waiting for an AP??? Doesn't make sense to me.

That's what they say. They are adjusting when the car cuts boost instead of 15~ it'll be like 18.

yes cobb is rewriting the maps they are a reflash not a pigyback/ signal interseptor. computer will still show accurate readings. MS3 is not on the backburner beacuse they got a gtr i think they are in the final steps. finalizing the maps and loading them onto the AP the might be douing some Beata testing as well.

DashHawk - Why? Because MSD has an active forum where the developer is always involved doing updates, listening to users and fixing problems. The DashHawk as a LOT of support and there is a new update like every week or two.

Good Customer Service > ALL

Aeroforce has an active forum where the company owner does the same thing :)
