So there i was at my local performance store today and asked about how much a replacement filter costs for my AEM SRI......... and he said 95cdn!!! WTF?!

doesnt a K&N cone filter cost somewhere around 55cdn?

and the filter on the AEM is just a K&N with a black top on top that has the AEM logo...

Can someone tell me wtf is going on...

Just get a cleaning kit for much cheaper (don't know the exact price) from any auto parts store. These filters are rechargeable, meaning you can spray them off with a hose, let them dry (DO NOT use compressed air to dry), and then apply the oil that is in the kit on the filter.

I gotta go and buy one of these kits as I'm going to do this once a year.
