shadow1 said:I'm running the TurboXS hybrid BOV. It mostly recirculates the blow off to maintain a good idle and driveability. Under high boost some of the boost will vent to atmosphere for sound. Works great. The Turbosmart BOV is similar but I have not used it before. MAF equipped vehicles like the CX-7 need blow off to be recirculated back into the intake since the air has already been metered for fuel. Venting 100% to atmosphere will cause driveability issues like stalling under part throttle.

baseballin37 said:Sweet thanks. This is my first Mazda. Everything else was MR2's and Supras. Big change. How does the intake feel when it comes to HP and hopefully it does save some gas with easier flow. Bet the sound is nice. Any BOV's out there. And last thing, any mods needed to be done since that intake is for a mazda 6 '05 and with any sensors?

shadow1 said:The filter is held on by a hose clamp. Enough install questions. The whole install (removing the stock airbox, opening the AEM packaging, and installing the AEM intake) took 12 minutes. It is EASY. The only part of the intake that I did not remove was the lower resonator box. It requires left front wheel removal and comes out through the wheelwell. I purposely left it so that I could very quickly re-install the stock airbox if I needed (like going to the delaer).
