adjusting tokico illuminas

actually, i helped install springs on a sedan, and getting at the strut mounts wasnt fun, niether was working on them in the limited space...

you have to remove your plastic stuff and the seat belt mount (its a pain getting the belt to retract again. just gotta finesse it)

With my 5 I just drilled the seatbelt guide/anchor. So all I have to do is pop the plastic trim off. I'm running mine set on 3/3 with the 21.5mm rear swaybar.

Wait i'm confused, brake mashed? wouldn't that induce more understeer since the front wheels aren't accelerating through the turn? Or is my tired brain failing me? I guess i'm most afraid of flying off the ramp from I-15 to I-215 at 80 instead of my usual 70, and watching in horror as my back end rotates too much and i lose it into the wall...
If you mash the brakes mid corner hard enough, any protege will oversteer...but if you enter the turn with the brakes mashed, you will most likely understeer...It sounds confusing indeed...Its the transitional s*** you need to watch for...If you are already loaded up hard on a corner, and then proceed to bounce the brake pedal, the weight shift from rear to front combined with a stiff rear bar will rotate the ass around....If you are not ready for it then it sucks....if you are then it kicks ass....
