Adjustable Mazda 2 Struts/Shocks

Honestly I am leaning towards coil overs still for the height adjustability... Also, I like the fact that if I were to keep the stock parts I would have a winter setup. Which will be nice to have when I eventually move to SK, and then NF later on.

But who knows! I'm Dutch, and cheap by nature, I may get this setup instead!

We had a chance to do some spring testing on the track this last weekend which was productive in the data we got on the 2. I will post up an update when we give the dampers a run.

Whats your best estimate for when the springs will be available? I was thinking of doing my spring upgrade next month and won't be too happy if your product is available a week later and better suits me (assuming your springset is not too agressive for the stock dampers).

We do not have a time schedule for the release of the springs. I wouldn't be able to provide an estimate at this point.

Hi Derrick,

any news on the CS shocks? :D
Ballpark figure as well so i know if i have saved enough for them :D

Cheers

For a price we would like to hit $599 for a damper/spring combo. Tooling setup for the dampers is taking some time it seems. I am itching to try out a set myself.

Is there still a chance at these dampers being released without springs for those of us who already have springs? Obviously, they won't be exactly perfect to the dampers as the CS springs will be but they'll at least be better than the stock ones. If released separate, are you still shooting for a 400-450 price range?

Definitely! The price range should be about right for just the dampers.

I am completely down with that. But I have to warn you, I'm impatient and like to ship 3-5 day ;-)

For the record, I will completely drive out to Brampton for parts!

I have nothing to update at the moment. I promise to share when I do.

So Derrick have you guys decided about how much the springs would lower the car?
I know before you stated close to 1.5" but I was just wondering if anything has changed. Trying to figure out what mods I wanna do and when and I an to the point where I want to upgrade the suspension soon.

We did some spring testing and we are making some changes to the setup we had. Rough guess would be 2-3 weeks until I get to do more work with them.

I would be interested. Could we adjust the ride height for seasonal use? Up in the great white north I don't need another snow plow. Would they be ok for cold weather use?

Hi Derrick,
Any more news on these?
it's either these or coilovers for me but as a daily driver I'd prefer shocks and springs! :D
