adjust handbrake

Is there a way to adjust the handbrake. When I put it up to the highest it doesn't hold the car. I don't understahnd.

Really? Well since you are new here, I'll give the quick info. Remove the center console and you'll find the cables that connect to the leveler. You loosen the nuts, pull the cables tight and tighten nuts down. That's it.

hmmm cause they told me it would adjust by itself.

it should after a while. if its not as tight you want, you can always do it manually like posted above.

release the ebrake, tighten the nut more, pull up, should be tighter.

did you change your rear brake pads recently? same thing happens if you do that and don't adjust the little bolt.

but if it's not that.. yah.. most likely be what previous posters said.
