hmm, looks like you visited the wrong forum. I believe you are looking for the Flamer forum. A little hostile aren't you?
I'm talking about new Skylines. Obviously if Nissan brings Skylines to the US they will be considered new, wouldn't you agree? So lets look at this link shall we:
SkylineGTR.com
Hmmm, lets see. A new R34 2001 Vspec II White color, 120 Miles, $95,500 USD. Looks like I was wrong. $70-$80K was too low. More like $95K. Looks like I have a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about. Do you have a better reference for the price of a new Skyline GTR? It doesn't take a genious to understand that you can get a ten year old R32 for $34K.
The 350Z will be a great car but certainly no Skyline GTR. The Skyline has things you will never see on the 350Z such as:
- ATTESA E-TS Pro All-Wheel drive system
- 4 Wheel steering
- 2 Limited Slip Differentials
- Twin Turbo
This to name a few. I like Gene's post. Apparently there will be an actual GTR being released in North America. This will be along with the 350Z, not instead of.
Lets see.. What else did you so rudely point out? Ah yes, the Viper. Well, the Viper can be made into a 1600hp beast. It is not a matter of whether people will pay for it, there are many people with more money than they know what to do with. It is whether Nissan will make a sizable profit if they bring it over. They've waited for 10 years and still it isn't in America. So they must be thinking long and hard about the idea.
Think about what u say b4 u say it! I believe I have thought about what I choose to write.
